Benevolence and Mission Programs

Our benevolence and mission giving is set at 10% of the annual envelope receipts for the last audited year.  Funds allocated are used to support the following Christ Centered ministries.

Athletes In Action: (http://athletesinaction.org) Since 1966,AIA has been helping athletes experience the hope and purpose that comes from following Jesus, and equipping them to use their platform to be part of God’s mission in the world to make disciples of all nations.  Steve & Bonnie Burak missionaries.

Camp Lackawanna: (http://www.presbycamlackawanna.org) Presbytery of Lackawanna Camp Lackawanna is the living sanctuary where people of all ages come to experience God and the grace of Jesus Christ through prayer, fellowship, and learning to care for the created world and one another.

Child Evangelism Fellowship: (http://www.cefonline.com) Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, just about anywhere the children can safely meet with their parent's permission.  Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press.

CRU: (http://www.cru.org) Formerly Campus Crusade for Christ who's mission is to win, build and send Christ-centered multiplying disciples into the world.  Andrea Buczynski, VP of Global Development.

Focus on the Family: (http://www.focusonthefamily.com)  The mission of Focus on the Family is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible by nurturing and defending the God-ordained institution of the family and promoting biblical truths worldwide.

FPC Elmhurst Board of Deacons: (http://www.fpcelmhurstpa.org)  Following their ordained duties to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless and to any who may be in distress within and beyond the community of faith.

Missionary Retreat Fellowship: (http://www.missionaryretreat.org)  Missionary Retreat Fellowship nestled in the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, seeks to provide affordable housing for missionaries on home assignment.  Founded by Bob and Bess Butters, MRF was incorporated in 1965 to serve all evangelical missions.  It is non-profit, evangelical and interdenominational.

Northeast Pennsylvania Youth for Christ: (http://www.nepayfc.com)  YFC reaches young persons everywhere, working together with the local church and other like minded partners to raise up followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God, prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.
